CLOVE'S FIRST WEEK

I have tried to narrow down the pictures from Clove's first week, but then I thought...why?  She is so beautiful and this kind of experience along comes around a few times.

Grayer was so soft and loving.  Although I have to say he didn't want to hold her.  If someone asked if he wanted to he would turn to me and say "Momma hold Baby Girl".

Dade was a pro.

Doing this three times over will do that for you.

Aislyn wanted to make sure she got her turn as well.

I was a little concerned how she would be with a little baby, but trust me...no worries now.

My parents came out to help.  They stayed with the kids while we were at the hospital.

My poor Dad got sick, so he just looked in the door and then went and waited in the car.  He never even got to hold her while they were here.

Grayer spend most of the time sitting by me on the bed.
Momma's Boy sitting in his spot.

Can't believe we did it again.

Dade was trying to block the light for her.

Pretty sure this kids is going to be the world best Dad, after his Dad that is.

Sisters.

This was as close as Grayer got the first day.

Daddy Daughter.

I see you!

Going home outfit.

Look how tiny I am!

I think she is going to have blue eyes like the boys.

First ride in the carseat.

Finally Home.

Still not willing to hold Baby Girl, but wanting to be right where the action is.

Cheek to cheek.

This being born thing is super tough.

First bath at home.

Every morning..."Where's Baby Girl?"

Heaven on Earth.

Camera flash might have been too bright.

Adorable is right!

Did I mention she has long toes, really long toes.

CLOVE ELIZABETH BRINKERHOFF

Bright and early on the morning on January 25th.  We don't get foggy days very often and it is even less often we get to add a new baby girl to our family.

Introducing Clove Elizabeth Brinkerhoff.
8 lbs 6 oz
19 1/4 - 20 3/4 inches (I'll tell you the story later)
Born at 11:21am

Her first bath.

She loves the warm water, but not the drying off part.

"Holding Daddy's finger makes me feel better".

Happy and content.

Back with Momma.
It is always so amazing.  You wait 9-10 months for this little person to finally get here and then all of a sudden it feels like they've always been here.
Welcome
Clove Elizabeth Brinkerhoff.
