HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAY BEAR

Happy Birthday Bear!!!

Now, my little boy is 3!!!

He asked for his party to be RED.

So, red birthday cake.

Go Gray Bear...you can do it!

We had the cousins and grandparents over for a fun day of swimming and eating.

Then, the next morning we had donuts and orange julius.

Just a little bit messy.

But that sure makes for some cute pictures.

Later, we opened presents.  

They played with this for close to an hour.

This bike, even though it got a lot of excitement is still sitting in the garage.  He doesn't want to give up his old glider bike.

And yes, baby girl you were there for all of it.  You just spent a lot of time sleeping and then hanging out.

She is a few days shy of being 5 months in this picture.

AISLYN'S DANCE RECITAL

Another year, another dance recital.

There is always so much anticipation in the days before the recital.  

Aislyn can't wait to wear her outfit.

She is excited to get her hair and make-up done.

And Momma can't wait for her little one to shine.

I didn't get any good picture of her dance, but she was spot on.

AISLYN'S PRE-K GRADUATION

I love preschool.  I love the tender teachers, the halls filled with macaroni crafts, hearing songs being sung about how to wash your hands, etc.

My little girl is now officially on her way to Kindergarten.

Her end of year celebration was adorable...just like her.

You could hear her voice singing above the others. 

She was always right on cue.

Beautiful Butterfly.

Little sister took a little nap, but woke up ready to go.

Little brother came to cheer Aislyn on too.

So cute.

So happy.

So loved.

Such a big part of our family.

MOTHER'S DAY 2013

Poor, Sad Tree.  We had high hopes that this tree would make it, but the transplant didn't work...

So Dain and the kids cut it down on Mother's Day for this...

My New Fire-pit!!!  I've had my eye on this thing for years!!!

Fire ablaze.  Cute kids to love.

And a wonderful hubby with marshmallow on his chin!!!!

He was super awesome this year.  He had the kids write special notes to me and then hid them around the house with yummy chocolates. I also got the best purse ever.  I have never in my life had comments on anything, let alone a purse.  This purse is amazing.  

Then to make it even better he cooked me dinner.

Thanks for making Mother's Day so special.

MONTH AT A GLANCE

Once the weather turned nice we tried to be outside as much as possible.

Grayer LOVES to ride his bike.

But he also LOVES to write.  So he took a break from riding to write me a note.

One of the biggest perks of teaching the oldest one to read is then having a story teller to help.
