BELATED ANNOUNCEMENT

After talking with a friend of mine today I realized that we never officially announced #3. I am due June 23, 2010 with a baby boy. We are all very excited...Dade kisses my tummy daily and tells "baby brother" hellooooooo and AZ believes she too has a baby in her tummy. Wish us luck!!!

EASTER WEEK

Easter has become a favorite holiday thanks to Mom's Enrichment FHE Group. Everyday the week leading up to Easter we had a FHE lesson and the activities were pretty fun. This picture is from our Last Supper Night. We dressed up in Biblical Costumes (of sorts).

We ate sitting on the floor.

Dade kept calling Aislyn "Mary" all night.

I think my little shepard looked great.

Mom made as traditional food as I thought the kids would still eat...and yes that is homemade flat bread. The best part was the honeycomb for dessert. Dade loved it.

On Saturday we had an Easter Egg Hunt in the back yard. AZ was all over it this year. She found more eggs than Dade.

Momma's vain attempt at getting a shot of the two of them.

I think I love this picture because of Dade's outfit. Those boots actually give him blisters, but he loves them so much he wears them anyway.
The night before Easter we made these "Easter Cookies". The kids helped make them by beating the pecans and mixing and tasting the ingredients. Then we put them in the oven overnight and "sealed the oven" by taping it. When the kids got up in the morning the tape was gone and these great "hollow" cookies (like Jesus's tomb) were waiting for them. Nothing like a cookie first thing in the morning.
After the cookies we moved on to finding our Easter baskets.

They were so sweet and good to each other.

Aislyn will hate me later, but I just had to put a picture of her hair in here. Poor girl.

The fun never ended and after naps we decorated Easter Eggs (with all the FHE activities we had the Easter Eggs had to fit in where ever). Blue for his favorite color.

AZ was just happy to be there. Sweet face.
We set a pretty high standard for next year...

PHOTO COLLECTION

Little Sister is always trying to see what Big Brother is doing.

After being caught!!!

Yes, they are the two most adorable children. I came into the room and interrupted their game of Bingo.

Daddy took us to Disney On Ice. It was even better than last year...having been at Disney World a month ago really made a difference.

As a side note...Aislyn learned how to climb out of her crib today...Momma is very tired.

DISNEYWORLD - WARNING MOMMA LIKES TO TAKE PICTURES

I feel I need to tell you that I originally picked out 50+ pictures and after whittling them down have put up 22. I know this is still a ton...sorry. I took more than 200 and just think they are all so great.
Anyway, here is Daddy and AZ on the Jungle Cruise. The button she is wearing let all the employees know that it was her birthday. She loved all the attention.
Big Brother just about jumped out of the boat, he thought it was so fun.

This is a picture I took while AZ and Mommy waited for Dade and Dad to ride Big Thunder Mountain (hopefully next time AZ will be tall enough to ride more rides and maybe Momma wont be pregnant [this is the first time I've said anything about being pregnant:)]. AZ is trying to sneak up on a little "tweet, tweet". Everyone around her was laughing.

We had to ride the Merry-Go-Round.

Our first encounter with the Disney Characters was actually Snow White, but both kids had a bad case of the "shyes" (I know it's not actually a word, but do you think I spelt it right?)

For AZ's birthday we took her to the Princess Storybook Dinner. Her face is a little cut off, but you still get the joy.

And more joy. The funny part was that she was a mess the whole time except when one of the princesses would come over to say "hi". So much so that Dain leaned over to me at one point and said "Do you think one of them would sit down and eat with us so she would be happier?"

The next morning was much better. We had the Safari Breakfast with Donald and Friends. Daisy Duck was a big hit. We loved this.

Mickey Mouse came over to say "hi".

After breakfast we went on a Safari Ride. Very cool. I took tons of pictures, but the best one was after we got off. Aislyn asked everyday after this one if we were going to see the animals again.

Brother and Sis. hiking around the forest.

I love the fish in the background. Dade's face could be happier...nap time.

Goofy was just as Goofy should be...goofy. He came by to say "hi" several times and Dade ran up to him each time.

The only way we could get Aislyn anywhere near this guy was by him sneaking up behind her. She had no idea.

We stayed in two different places on our trip. This was the Beach Club Resort. The kids loved the Lighthouse and we took a little boat ride to get into ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The true reason for the trip was that Dain won an award called Circle of Excellence. ESPN flew us out to Disney World and while we were there Dain and I attended a banquet and he recieved an award. He is amazing.

The next day we went to Epcot. Dade's favorite ride was here, Mission Space. We also ate at a great hibachi place...yum.

Here we are staying that the Cabins at Fort Wilderness. Every lobby had these great old movies playing and we would have to drag the kids away every time we waked into the lobby.

We decided to head back to Animal Kingdom Park. This day was pretty cold, but Dade and Dad were adventurous enough to try the water rapids ride. Dade loved it so much...they rode it 5 times in a row. They were drenched. This group rode most of those trips together. Dade is sitting on top of a metal trash can...the only warm place we could find.

The center of the park had this beautiful Tree of Life.

Here is a close up view. So much detail.

Aislyn made owl sounds for hours afterward.
We had an amazing time. This will let you know how much Dade loved being there. This week at church one of his friends was gone. When he asked me where he was I told him his family had gone to Disney World. He started to cry. It made me cry too. I assured him we would try to visit again.

MY BABY GIRL IS 2

This year for Aislyn's 2nd birthday we went with an animal theme... seeing how she is crazy for them.

I just can't seem to get away from the green...I love it.

This was her little plate. The kids had their own special monkey plates.

The cousins made great guests and playmates. Here is Roman on the slide.

Aunt Erin loves me more the best.

Asher found his way up in the tree (after watching Dad do it).

Kajsa waited patiently for her turn.

Big Brother shows his teeth.

After dinner we opened presents.

Look at that surprise face!

Oma made her the prettiest apron.

Kajsa and AZ wanted into the new big wheel. Look at AZ's toes.

Here's a close up. Dance Class Soon?

Ok, now this picture is just for our own amusement. AZ is totally freaked out by fire and hot...totally. She screamed through her entire birthday song.

But the cupcake proved to be worth it.

And the day ended with a movie, blanket, and Kajsa.
Happy 2nd Birthday Little Angel. Thanks you for coming to be with our family.
