TRUNK OR TREAT

This is a pretty good representation of how the evening went. Dain had to work and so I attempted to take the three kids to our "unofficial ward trunk or treat".

ROAR!!!!!!!

AZ had a blast, but as the evening came to a close she was so tired...so tired.

I bought the boys matching Halloween PJ's, or as AZ calls them... pjammies.

HALLOWEEN FESTIVITIES

My personal favorite...decoration sugar cookies. This year Dade was very particular.

AZ just wanted a lot of frosting.

Dade chose his costume this year...aarrrrrrrr!!!

Definitely the cutes of his pre-k class.

This was not AZ's costume, but we did dress up. Doesn't Grayer make the cutest lion you have even seen?

Pumpkin Carving 101. Have at least two cheesy smiles.

One cute bundle.

Make sure they can all get in on the action.

I put this picture in so you could see the cute Halloween apron I made with the girls. Yes, I bought the material in May, but who's keeping track.

Daddy got home just in time to help with the truly messy part.

Don't you want to nibble on those toes?

And, to end the night...yuck!!!

DADE'S 5TH BIRTHDAY

My former "Little Mister" is now a big 5 year guy. I still can't believe that he wants to grow up. I keep telling him to stay little, but he wont.
As you can tell from the picture...he had a soccer game on his birthday.

Then on Saturday we had his birthday party at Pump It Up. It's a bounce house party zone.

Do you see how sweaty he is? Proof that the party was a hit.

The whole group. Bis Smiles.

The whole group. Big Laughs.

Birthday candle.

Opening presents.

And more presents.
Thank you to all!!!

TEXAS STATE FAIR

I love this face. I feel so bad that these seem to be the only pictures of him. I promise to do a whole entry just on him soon.

The Texas State Fair. We had such a great time last year, that we just had to go again. We told the kiddos they could each pick two rides. Dade picked this one. I thought for sure he would get to the top and want to back out.

I was wrong. Yes, that is him going ALL BY HIMSELF. And if you look really closely you can see AZ in between Dain's legs.

It still makes me smile when I see this picture.

Next, off to be a farmer.

Little cute faces.

The kids go through and take part in all the different aspects of being a farmer...planting,

harvesting,

cheesing, and taking the food to market.

The petting zoo is always a big hit. Dade didn't want to sit for the picture..."I want to feed more animals".

He sat and loved these pigs for 20 minutes or more. He had just watched Charlotte's Web a few days before...I think it made it even more special.

NASH FARM

We love this place. We have been going to Nash Farm for the past three years. It is a local farm with a serious love for the community.

They have games and crafts for the kids...
tractors and farm equipment for the kids to explore on...

and pony rides. They are always a little bit of a gamble. Dade has always loved riding, but last year AZ refused to even get within 10 feet of the little guys.

This year was a mixed bag. She really wasn't sure she wanted to get on, but she was more sure she didn't want to get left out.

As long as the pony was moving she was OK.

Another stop!!!

My sweet #3. He makes everything wonderful.

The cousins were able to join as on the hay/wagon ride. Just image what the next few years are going to be like...a little scary.
All in all, we ended with smiles. See you next year Nash Farm.

I AM SO FAR BEHIND

These pictures are from two different days. The one above is of our sweet, thumb sucking little Grayer. That kids loves a good thumb.
The following pictures are from the day we got the costume box down from the attic.
Yes, that costume is WAY TOO SMALL. He wore it when he was 2, three years ago.

This cute "chic" has never been used for Halloween, just for fun.

Most beautiful picture in the world.

I'm so proud to have a doctor in the family.

From here on out the pictures take a funny turn. I'm not sure there were too many monkey vikings...

and I'm pretty sure if a doctor showed up with this much bed head, I wouldn't let him touch me...

(quick reading break)

gun slinging, viking, doctor...

and last, but not least...the witch monkey.
