TAKE A LOOK

The following are a collection of pictures from the last few months. In July Cousin Miller turned 3 and each of the party goers were given these as favors (so cute Jordan!). My caped crusaders love theirs.

Fast as lighting!

Able to leap tall ....couches.

AZ's first day of our co-op preschool. We started this group last year and have loved being a part of it. She has to miss out a lot right now, but when we get into the new house she will be happy as a clam.

I can't contain all the silliness around here.

My Boys!

Ok, now if you look back through the old blog entries you'll find more than one entry like this pictured above.

Every time it rains I know what will be asked...Can we put on our rain coats and boots?
Yes, little ones...yes you can.

Halloween, my favorite holiday. There are more sprinkles than cupcake.

The smiles make it all worth it.

Dade's creations...

AZ's....

and Grayer taste tested them. I think he liked them.

1-2-3-4-5-6!!!!!

This year marked a big milestone in our family. The year we moved to Superhero Themed Birthday Parties.

Spiderman Mania!!!

We had the cousins over for Hot Dogs, S'mores and Fun a few days before Dade's actual Birthday.
Dain was giving the kids directions for the Scavenger Hunt. The only one not paying attention was Grayer.
Oma and Opa let us break in their fire pit. A huge success. Now I want one.

Pictures of the Party Goers.

Dade and Asher...best buds.

The great thing about this age is any dragon, monster, or car toy is AWESOME.

Well, as always....Mom over planned the activities. So, Dade got to stay up late and have his cupcake (candle and all) with Mom and Dad.

Balloon Animals anyone?

On Dade's actual Birthday we took him to Rain Forest Cafe to celebrate.

Everyone got a special balloon.

But of course the Chicken Dance Birthday song was the pinnacle.
Happy Birthday Baby Boy. Thank you for making me a momma. You bring me more joy than you can imagine.
I love you more the best.

ARBORETUM

We have lived in the Dallas area from more than 5 years and every year we make a fall trip to the Dallas Arboretum. So...here are the pictures from this years trip.

The weather was perfect and so was this little pumpkin.

Oma helped him feed the animals at, or should I say outside the petting zoo while I helped the bigger kids inside. I was told that one little goat tried to nibble his cute little toes.

Sugar!

Pure Joy!

The #1 thing to do at the Arboretum is get our faces painted. AZ picked the princess...

Dade Batman.

I think the cutest pictures of them are when they aren't looking.

Cinderella's Coach was a big hit.

TRIP TO MIDLAND

We were lucky enough to visit my sister in Midland for about two weeks. The kids had a great time playing with cousins and running around outside...collecting acorns.

My cute little Charlie Bear.

HERE COMES TROUBLE!!! There is no other way to say it. Laura got into Susan's makeup and ended up making this lovely.

We spent the day at the Air Force Museum "looking at exhibits" (Dade's phrase he kept using the whole time we were there).

She is always ready for a smile.

This little model plane was a hit.

The wings moved up and down and each kids wanted their own turn.

I love this kid.

Nothing breeds creativity like a little down time. We let the kids play outside everyday and after a few days they came up with this....chalk tree.

Yes, she's on her cell phone.

This picture is missing Grayer, in fact all the pictures are missing Grayer. Just wait little buddy, a few more months and you will be in all the action too.

We also went to the Children's Museum. This little news room was so cute. A video camera recorded their little faces and they were able to watch themselves on the monitor.

Chalk Tree you have met your match.

Sticker Tree's Rule.
Thanks for the trip Sue.

GRAYER 101

This boy loves, loves balls. He has discovered that they even taste good.

Hard to smile and keep a ball in your mouth?...Not for this guy.

Now, the tasting fascination does not end there. Frozen fishies also taste yummy and feel good on sore gums.
Please note the drool coming off his chin.

I think it is the combination of his shirt and the fish that make me laugh. I don't think anyone has to worry about their daughters here.

He is finally drinking from a cup all by himself (months ago now). This kid was pretty stubborn and wanted Mom or Dad to do all the work.

A few months ago I posted that I never let the older kids get messy...well, now we have an even messier picture.

BBQ Beans...if anyone was wondering.

He sure cleans up pretty.

We also started walking over a month ago.

He looks so proud of himself. This last week or so he has finally decided to give up the crawling thing altogether.

Poor kid.

With us in between houses right now, he gets the short end of the stick when it comes to naps.

This is how he spent the last hour of church last week. I finally caved and drove him around to let him get a nap. Can you blame me? Wouldn't you drive around to get a peek at that cute face?
