ARUBUCKLE WILDERNESS

So, not the best picture of Grayer, but it is the only one. He was drinking a bottle on Mom's lap while we drove through this fun safari.

We had Dade and AZ sit together in the front seat. We thought they would be able to see and feed the animals better.

It didn't even last two minutes. As soon as Aislyn realized the animals weren't in cages and were coming up to the car...she was out of there!!!

Daddy feeding camels.

Daddy petting zebra.

Daddy feeding ostrich. This was the first and last time Dad fed the ostriches...they were a little too eager...in fact, a little scary.

Daddy feeding the giraffe.

Daddy feeding the giraffe by hand. Look at that tongue.

Dade hiding while Dad feeds the giraffe.

Our two little wild animals we decided to take home.
We had a really nice time. Who wants to go with us next time?

We will go! The Sacramento Zoo lets you pay money to go an a platform and feed the giraffes. Of course I am a mean mom and just let Coen watch the other kids feed the giraffes. (This was July) A couple of weeks ago he asked if we could go back and then told me he was bringing his own money so he could feed the giraffes.

That picture of Dade hiding is too funny! I bet they had fun watching Dain feed the animals, even if they were a bit freaked out. I know we wouldn't be able to get Miller to do it, but I bet he'd get excited about the animals! We'll go with you next time, for sure!!
