Here is it. The blog post I have been trying to get to for months.
Last June we were able to take a trip to Southern California with the kids.
WE HAD A BLAST!!!
What better way to start off a trip than to get donuts and not just any donuts...HUGE DONUTS.
Sprinkles are always a hit.
Baby girl made the trip with us and she made it so much more fun.
Aislyn finished her donut quickly. She was excited to get to the beach.
I think this is Grayer's first trip to the beach. He was very excited, but didn't actually want to get in the water. So he and I hung out on the towels with...
baby girl. She took an awesome nap.
Aislyn was more interested in building sandcastles and covering herself with sand. Take a look.
I so remember doing this when I went to beach.
Look at that handsome fella.
The problem with this picture is that it's only the first day of our trip and the kids are already wiped out.
Yup!
Even this beauty.
Even the one who says he never needs to nap.
Here we go...off to Neverland.
Some day we will get Clove Ears so she can look just as silly as the rest of us.
Right now, she gets to look like this.
Don't you just want to eat her up?
Grayer was beside himself with excitement.
Aislyn was beside herself with anticipation.
Castle.
We made an attempt to catch as many shows as possible. This gave us a chance to sit down and watch the smiles and
the magic really happen.
Even when they are this little.
We had better watch out...not too many more years and these crazies will be out on the road.
She was such a trooper. She was a dream.
WAHOOOOOO!
Towards the end of the day all the kids wanted to take a ride in the stroller. Yup, that single stroller has three kids in it and one on the side.
I don't think this picture really needs a caption.
Or this one.
We were lucky enough to be in California at the same time as Dain's cousin's wedding. We know how to bring the party on!!!
Back to Disney...
California AdventureLand.
Breakfast at Ariel's Grotto meant lots of smiles.
Even from this guy who is "too old" now.
Clove chose to take a nap.
Princess
Prince
Cinderella
Belle
Adorable
Go Rangers!!!
Even Daddy and Baby Girl were ready for the Rangers.
Nap time.
Next Day...Back to Disneyland.
Self Taken.
Storm Trooper Sighting.
Storm Trooper Sighting II
Waiting for the parade.
Waiting for Mickey Mouse.
Finally.
I don't think I have told you how much this kids loves Mickey Mouse. One day while he and I were in Walmart we walked past a shirt that had Mickey Mouse on it and he yelled "Meeshka", which for those of you without kids is a chant from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Yes, I bought the shirt. I'm wearing it in the ears picture.
We did a little extra birthday celebrating.
Yummy...smiles I mean.
A walk down Huntington Beach.
My loves.
We spent the last night in San Diego.
We ate a yummy dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory.
Oh yeah, it was also the 4th of July.
I can't believe they are mine.
All mine.
